SCHOOL OF ART AND HUMAN MOVEMENT
CIRCUS SCHOOL
Circus classes for children are given by Elsa, circus artist, aerial acrobat and teacher, and she is assisted by Tao or Solal d'Orso.
Teen and adult classes are taught by
Jérôme and Elsa.

Each class is age-appropriate, and young and old alike learn the most emblematic acrobatic arts, including trapeze, wire, fabric and rope, aerial hooping, juggling, balancing ball and acrobatics.
​
Beyond artistic and physical learning, there's the development of our students. The circus arts call for mastery of the body, self-transcendence, balance, a sense of the objects that surround us and of the laws that order the world, as well as a sense of collective work.
​
The end of the year is devoted to putting on a show, a time to put down roots, and a time of celebration and sharing with families.

DANCE AND AXIS SYLLABUS - Weekly classes WITH ELSA BRION and/or JEROME D'ORSO
Awareness and knowledge, sensation and know-how, sensitivity and skill.
A study in itself, an art as a cry for life.

On Thursday mornings, Elsa and Jérôme propose a space for exploration
around bodies in movement on a chosen theme.
Time for research, choreographic motifs and experimentation in partnership.
Undulating, rolling, sliding, crawling, jumping, running... a source of study, joy and invention.

THEATER
Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
for 8-16 year olds
The exploration of theater continues its journey around the theme of courage. The road will also be under our feet in the spring, for our traveling show from Châtillon to Die for those who wish!

CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Mondays from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM
for children aged 7-12 years

Professional dance teacher with a state diploma and contemporary dancer. Since 2007, I have taught contemporary dance in various associations, social centers, and schools, as well as indoors/outdoors, standing/on the floor.
Between choreography, improvisation, and creation, dance is a bodily language accessible to everyone.
It allows each and every one of us to create, express, communicate, and share our emotions.
I want to set aside the notion of performance, open up the field of possibilities through the energy and interpretation of each and every one.
My intention is to teach through the path of sensations, imagination, and the joy of dancing.
Back to school on September 15.

FREE DANCE
Mondays 14h30-16h30 - Open to all
Inspired by dance practices that include the awareness of being in its multiple dimensions, to live in movement and put into body our psychic, emotional and relational processes, on inspired playlists.
From our physical matter to our spirit, a danced wave like a crossing of what calls us to set ourselves in motion and to land on a new beach. 2 hours later!
