Bend & Peel

Bend&Peel is an immersive music and dance performance that invites an active audience to become co-creators of the work. Each event gives rise to a unique story in which art, dance and in situ music intertwine. The DJ set, punctuated by surprises, forms a sound narrative inspired by the states of body and heart of the participants present, composing a score for sensitive bodies.

Each performance encourages attentive listening and collective movement, blurring the boundaries between actor and spectator.  Bend&Peel thus creates an unprecedented moment of sharing, bringing together between 50 and 200 people, at the crossroads of performance, concert, dance, collective trance, nightclub, ritual and art exhibition.

Bend&Peel in 3 chapters

Chaper 1 – 19h: Le théâtre des salutations The doors open onto an exhibition of contemporary art (paintings and drawings), accompanied by a shared buffet and a non-alcoholic bar.
This space for verbal exchange creates a bridge between everyday life and the magic of the experience to come.

Chapter 2 – 20.30h: Partition for sensitive bodies
• Act 1 : Game constraints
• Act 2 : Collecctve movement
• Act 3 : Collective composition

Guided by the pleasure of body and sound, this performance is orchestrated by a live DJ set punctuated by surprises. Participating dancers plunge into a non-verbal space and become co-creators of a collective story that is told and experienced live.

Chapitre 3 – Around midnight : Closing ritual
A moment to conclude and integrate this collective sensory experience.

A collective sensory experience
Bend&Peel's experience is first and foremost a celebration and exploration of the senses (listening, touching, tasting, seeing, smelling) designed to fluidify the dialogue between conscious and unconscious. This exploration invites us into a state of suppleness and depth, where we can dance with our shadows and lights, individually and collectively.

A tribute to the body and dancefloor culture
• To a dancefloor culture where electro, pop, cumbia, classical music, hip-hop, silence, tango and many other sound vibrations coexist in harmonious dissonance.
• To the body, that celestial tightrope walker on the precipices of the unknown, capable of vibrating, feeling, sweating, playing, staggering or suspended. Bend&Peel pays tribute to this great interpretive structure, weaving fragments of the ephemeral into poetry in motion.

Exposition
The art work presented at Bend&Peel are moments of suspense that offer the opportunity to contemplate an inner dance transcribed by artists. They are timeless meeting points, linking movement on the dancefloor to movement on the canvas. Resonating with the Bend&Peel universe, these works are also an invitation to support the artists who created them.
By acquiring them, you become a precious link in this artistic and human chain. We encourage you to explore them throughout the evening.
